{"id":8227,"date":"2022-04-19T11:30:52","date_gmt":"2022-04-19T11:30:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/edwardsassociate.co.tz\/?p=8227"},"modified":"2022-05-11T12:02:50","modified_gmt":"2022-05-11T12:02:50","slug":"our-areas-of-practice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/edwardsassociate.co.tz\/index.php\/2022\/04\/19\/our-areas-of-practice\/","title":{"rendered":"HOW TO BE A PRACTICAL IN-HOUSE\u00a0LAWYER"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lawyers, including in-house lawyers, have a well-deserved reputation for over-complicating things.\u00a0 Don\u2019t worry, this isn\u2019t a sermon.\u00a0 I am standing in the dock next to you, guilty as hell!\u00a0 Still, I have spent time over the course of a long career in the law trying to figure out why this is.\u00a0 Why is it that lawyers make things so hard on themselves and their clients?\u00a0 I think it comes down to this: lawyers hate to be wrong.
